With roots in the Caribbean, Esther grew up surrounded by craftsmanship, creativity, and resourcefulness. Her father fashioned hats, baskets, and everyday objects from natural resources, transforming raw materials into pieces of beauty, function, and purpose. She learned early that what is made by hand carries a presence that mass production cannot replicate.
That legacy continued through a family of makers, builders, seamstresses, carpenters, and craftsmen. From those surroundings, Esther developed a lasting eye for texture, form, and artistic transformation.
